RN, MSc, PhD student in Nursing Sciences and Public Health

I’m a registered nurse and a PhD student in Nursing Sciences and Public Health at the University of Rome Tor Vergata (XL cycle, Department of Biomedicine and Prevention).

I work at the University Hospital of Udine (Italy), Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Friuli Centrale (ASU FC), in the Accreditation, Quality and Clinical Risk Unit, where I develop, monitor and research infection prevention and control programmes. I previously worked as an intensive care nurse in the University Clinic of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care of the same hospital. In September 2025, as part of my PhD studies, I was a clinical observer in the Adult Critical Care Directorate at St George’s University Hospital, Tooting, London.

My main research areas are infection prevention and control, and critical care nursing. I’m a member of the Reviewer Board of Antimicrobial Resistance & Infection Control, and I have served as a peer reviewer for international Q1 journals such as International Journal of Nursing Studies and Intensive and Critical Care Nursing.

My complete portfolio is available on this site: publications, collaborations, talks.
